Before starting the practice, I didn’t know what the people in my area would think about hypnosis and hypnotherapy. I didn’t know if they had much knowledge or if they would be worried that I would just be there to make them quack like a duck! It’s been such a thrill for me that people are actually really quite eager to speak to me about hypnotherapy and, although there are questions, people are quite knowledgeable and keen. I wanted more chance to get to have conversations with people about hypnotherapy, what it is and how it might be of benefit and I happened to come across a local animal charity that were holding an event. Okay, it may not be the most obvious choice for a hypnotherapist but as a huge animal lover I loved the idea of speaking to people who were interested in finding out more while supporting a local event and seeing lots of adorable pooches at the same time!
I got in touch with a lovely lady hosting the event and was so happy that she wanted me on board on the day. Fiona Beynon is Manager for Wales and South West at Pheonix French Bulldog Rescue, a wonderful charity that finds foster and forever homes for adorable French bulldogs. Fiona and the charity do amazing work finding homes for the loveable dogs in need, some of which urgently need a new home. Not only this but she runs her own dog grooming salon Bootiful Pooches.
This is the first Phoenix Dog Gala in Wales and it sounds like such a fun day with lots going on.
It is open to everyone and their dog to come and enjoy with fun dog classes and lots of trade stands.
On the day I will be offering a very special offer that you can take advantage of at my practice so look out for my stall and I hope to get to chat to some of you there!
