What is hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is the therapeutic use of hypnosis and can be used to help with a huge range of issues, such as weight loss, stopping smoking, anxiety and depression, confidence building, improving sports performance to name just a few. You can read more information about what hypnotherapy is by clicking this link to our main ‘What is Hypnotherapy?’ page
Am i suitable to undergo hypnotherapy?
Since hypnosis is only effective in willing participants, anyone who wishes to undergo hypnosis can be hypnotised. However, if you have any medical condition or are taking any prescribed medications then we advise you to see your G.P first in order to gain their advice regarding your specific condition and undergoing hypnotherapy. If unsure please feel free to contact us about this or speak to your G.P.
How many sessions will i need?
With the exception of our smoking cessation sessions, other issues will certainly require more than one session in order for you to feel the benefits of hypnotherapy. Generally, lots of issues require around 3-5 sessions, however since every person is different and with some issues being more deep rooted than others, this is not exact. How you respond as an individual to hypnotherapy will also affect the number of sessions you require and this can be monitored with your therapist throughout your course of hypnotherapy.
What is a consultation?
At Sarah Neale Hypnotherapy we offer a free initial consultation at one of our consulting rooms and during this we aim to gain a wealth of information about you and your issue in order to get the best results. This session is around 30 minutes. You can chat openly face to face with your therapist with complete confidentiality about your issue and decide if hypnotherapy is the way forward for you.
How much does it cost?
We offer an initial consultation free of charge. Our hypnotherapy sessions cost £70 and last around 50-60 minutes. We offer a one off smoking cessation session at a cost of £150.
How do i book a consultation?
Simply call us on 01792 346123 in order to have a short chat and book over the phone.
What does a hypnotherapy session involve?
This does depend on the individual and the specific issue, however after a short chat with your therapist you will undergo hypnosis specific to you as an individual and your issue. After your hypnosis you will have the opportunity to talk again with your therapist about the session and give your feedback.
