What data is collected?
During consultation, various types of information are collected. This includes your name, address and contact email and telephone. Information such as medication and the specifics of your issue are also collected.
If you voluntarily subscribe to the newsletter then your name and email address will be collected.
How is my data used?
All data collected is used to formulate hypnotherapy sessions aimed at your specific needs as a client.
Your medication information is used to check that there are no contraindications to undergoing hypnotherapy.
Your telephone number and email address may be used to contact you regarding your appointment, such as if it is necessary to rearrange an appointment. You will only be contacted via the preferences indicated on your consultation form.
Your email address is used in order to send the invoice for payment and is done so for each individual session booked.
Your name and email address are used to send marketing emails but only if you have voluntarily opted in.
We are required by law to keep a record of clients which includes all consultation forms and therapist notes for 7 years. Client notes and consultation forms are not held electronically, only paper records are kept of these which are kept in a locked filing cabinet with the keys available only to myself, Sarah Neale.
Any payment details are not held by Sarah Neale Hypnotherapy but collected and encrypted by our third-party payment processor iZettle®. Sarah Neale Hypnotherapy never has access to your payment information which is collected and encrypted by iZettle® secure servers. Marketing emails are only sent to those who have specifically opted in to receive these emails. Any clients prior to 25thMay 2018 who subscribed to receive email marketing only receive emails if they re-subscribe as this data has been deleted from our email marketing list.
If you subscribe to our email marketing, you have the right to withdraw at any time you choose. This can be done by clicking the unsubscribe button contained within our marketing email. Your data will then be deleted from our email marketing list.
A cookie is a small text file generated by a web page server and collects standard login information and visitor behaviour information.
Our website uses google analytics which allows website usage and behaviour to be statistically monitored.
You have the option of disallowing cookies on your computer but this may result in portions of our website not being displayed properly.
